Quick solutions for the most common problems on Opinyze.
Can't Log In
If you're having trouble signing in, try these steps:
- Double-check your email and password. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure caps lock is off.
- Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to reset your password via email. The reset link expires after a short time, so use it promptly.
- Check your spam folder if you don't see the reset email. Look in your promotions or junk folder as well.
- Clear your browser cookies and try again. Stale session data can sometimes cause login issues.
If none of these work, contact support with your registered email address.
Survey Not Loading
If a survey page is blank or stuck loading:
- Check your internet connection. Try refreshing the page or switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Try a different browser. The issue might be specific to your current browser or an extension interfering with the page.
- Clear your browser cache. Cached data from an older version of the site can sometimes cause display issues.
- Check if the survey is still active. Surveys close once they've collected enough responses. If the survey has ended, you'll see a message indicating that.
Payment Not Showing
If you completed a survey but don't see the credits in your wallet:
- Wait a few minutes. Credits are processed after your response is verified, which can take a short time.
- Check your transaction history on the Earnings page. The payment may have been recorded but not yet reflected in your balance.
- Make sure you completed the survey. Partially completed or abandoned surveys don't earn credits. You must submit your final response.
If credits still haven't appeared after 24 hours, contact support with the survey name and the time you completed it.
Notification Issues
If you're not receiving notifications:
- Check your notification preferences in Settings. Make sure the notification types you want are toggled on.
- Allow browser notifications if you've previously blocked them for Opinyze. Check your browser's site settings.
- Check your email spam folder for email notifications that may have been filtered.
Verification Problems
If NIN verification isn't working:
- Ensure your name matches exactly. The name you registered with must match your NIN record, including spelling and order (first name, last name).
- Check your date of birth. This must also match your NIN record precisely.
- Verify your NIN is valid. Make sure you're entering the correct 11-digit number. If you're unsure, check your NIN slip or NIMC app.
If your details are correct but verification still fails, contact support for assistance.
Browser Compatibility
Opinyze works best on modern browsers. We recommend:
- Google Chrome (version 90 or newer)
- Mozilla Firefox (version 90 or newer)
- Safari (version 14 or newer)
- Microsoft Edge (version 90 or newer)
If you're on an older browser, some features may not work correctly. Updating your browser to the latest version usually resolves these issues.
Most issues can be resolved by refreshing the page, clearing your browser cache, or trying a different browser. Start with these steps before reaching out to support.
