Accessing Your Settings

Open the Settings page from your sidebar to manage everything about your account. Settings are organized into clear sections so you can quickly find what you need.

Profile Settings

Your profile is what Opinyze uses to match you with relevant surveys and polls. You can update the following:

• First name and last name - How your name appears on the platform.
• Username - Your unique identifier on Opinyze.
• Profile photo - Upload a picture or avatar. This appears on the leaderboard and in your profile.
• Bio - A short description about yourself (up to 160 characters).
• Phone number - Optional contact number.
• Demographics - Information like location, education, and employment. Keeping these up to date ensures you're matched with surveys that fit your background.

Notification Preferences

Control which notifications you receive and how they're delivered. Notifications are organized into four categories:

• Surveys - New survey invitations and survey-related updates.
• Rewards - Credit and point earnings, achievement unlocks, streak milestones.
• Support - Ticket replies and support updates.
• Marketing - Product announcements and promotional content.

For each category, you can independently toggle email notifications and push notifications on or off. You can also pause all notifications temporarily if you need a break.

Language Settings

Opinyze currently supports two languages:

• English - Standard English for all platform content.
• Pidgin - Nigerian Pidgin for a more relaxed, local experience.

Switch languages from the settings page. The change applies across the entire app immediately, including navigation, buttons, and help content.

Theme and Appearance

Choose between light and dark mode, or set it to follow your system preference. The theme applies across all pages and persists between sessions.
